Buy Minecraft

You need a valid copy of Minecraft Java Edition to participate in the Moonsama Minecraft Metaverse.

1. Go to https://minecraft.net
2. In the top right corner, click Get Minecraft
3. Select Computer
4. Select Minecraft: Java Edition
5. Select Buy Minecraft
6. Sign in with your Microsoft Account (create one if needed)
7. Follow the steps until you see the game download page

Buy Game Pass

Some areas of the Moonsama Minecraft Metaverse require a game pass. These areas include Carnage and the Seasonal Server.

1. Add MetaMask to your browser
2. Create a wallet
3. Add the Exosama Network to MetaMask
   Visit this link: https://www.dailysama.com/tools/add-to-wallet
   OR perform these steps:
   1. Open the MetaMask menu in your browser and perform the following steps:
   2. Select the Network dropdown that says Ethereum Mainnet
   3. Select Add Network
   4. Fill in the Exosama Network information:
      • Network Name: Exosama
      • New RPC URL: https://rpc.exosama.com
      • Chain ID: 2109
      • Currency Symbol: SAMA
      • Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.exosama.com/
4. Add $SAMA tokens to your wallet
5. Go to https://raresama.com/
6. In the top right corner, select Connect Wallet
7. Get your game pass. Valid game passes are:
   • Moonsama
   • Multiverse Avatar
   • Exosama (Ethereum Network)
   • Gromlins (Moonbeam Network)
   • VIP Ticket ( Moonriver Network)
   • Embassy Pass ( Moonriver Network, cannot be purchased)

Note that game passes purchased from the marketplace are offered by community members, not by the Moonsama Team.

Stake Assets

Any items or game passes you wish to use in the Moonsama Minecraft Metaverse must be staked in the Moonsama Portal.

1. Go to https://portal.moonsama.com/
2. Sign in using your Email Address or KILT Identity
3. If you haven't already, select Connect Wallet in the top right corner
   • Make sure you have the Exosama Network selected in your MetaMask menu
4. Select Import to game or Burn into game for assets you wish to use in the Metaverse
   • Assets available for import show up in the right half of page
   • You may need to sign a transaction to allow the portal to interact with your wallet first

Join Game

1. Download and install Minecraft Java Edition
2. Start the Game Launcher
3. Sign in using your Microsoft Account with which you bought Minecraft Java Edition
4. Click Play
5. Once in the Game Menu, select Multiplayer
6. In the server selection, select Add Server
7. Enter a name of your choice and the server address
   • For carnage, use one of these, copy the IP address for your region from here
   • For the 24/7 server, copy the IP address from here
8. Set Server Resource Packs: Enabled
9. Click Done
10. Select the server in the list, then click Join Server

Complete Preparation

Steps 2 and 3 of this section apply for Carnage only

You will be asked to perform these steps ingame:

1. Link your Minecraft account
   • Type /login in the chat
   • Follow the instructions
2. Accept the rules
   • Click on the link in the book
   • On the website, follow the ⚑ flags until you see a code
   • Copy the code
   • In the book, click on the [here] text
   • Press T, then paste your code and submit with enter
   • If you do not know how to paste text, you can simply type the code yourself
3. Link a messenger
   • Interact with a Lectern in the lobby
   • Click on the [Add] text for either Telegram or Discord
   • Follow the steps

Explore additional commands

• /gganbu tells you your playtime and whether you are eligible for Gganbu rewards
• /offhands allows you to select a special offhand from your bridged assets to unlock powerful abilities
• /itemskins allows you to customize some of your weapons using your bridged assets

Learn about the maps

• You can access four different maps from the Carnage lobby. After entering one, you can go back to the lobby using the /lobby command.
• Returning to the lobby during the ongoing game will force you to drop all your items and experience.

How to fix: Wrong Game Version

1. Start the game launcher
2. Switch to the Installations tab
3. Select New installation
4. Enter a name of your choice, then select Release 1.18.2 in the version dropdown
5. Select Create
6. Go back to the Play tab
7. In the dropdown left of the Play button, select your new installation
8. Select Play

How to fix: Buy your bird

If you see the Buy your bird error while trying to join the Moonsama Minecraft Metaverse, you are either missing your game pass or it has not been imported correctly. Confirm this by signing into the Metaverse bridge.

• If you do not see a game pass on the left side of the screen, import your game pass
• If you see a game pass on the left side of the screen, check if it says You are eligible to play. If it does not say that, export your game pass and import it again. Otherwise, there might be a server issue, please contact the team.
